Overview
The MacMice iBreeze is a dual fan cooled, USB powered, clear acrylic desk stand for your Apple Powerbook or iBook. It is powered by the computer's USB port, and provides a passthrough port, so you don't lose the use of that USB port when using the iBreeze. The iBreeze is built to provide quiet cooling, as well as improved ergonomics (by providing a slightly raised angle for using the keyboard).

Setup
Place your PowerBook on the iBreeze, then plug the iBreeze into your built-in USB port. It really doesn't get much easier than this!

In Use
The iBreeze is a very pleasant design, with a clear plastic construction that blends in quite well with the Mac theme. There are 8 rubber shoes on the stand which not only protect the bottom of your PowerBook from rubbing on the plastic, but also creates just the right space for the air to circulate, providing better coverage of the unit.

The angle of the stand is fixed, but I found it to be at a good comfortable angle. If you needed to adjust the angle, you could probably prop something underneath the front or back rim of the stand.

There are two fans that operate on the unit, centrally located, and do a very nice job of bringing down the heat of what is otherwise a very hot PowerBook. Keeping the PowerBook cooled off like that is good for longetivity of the internal electronics. The great thing about these fans is that they are truly whisper quiet. There is also an on/off switch on the back of the stand. At one point, I thought I had turned the unit off, but I when I went to turn the switch back on, I felt a cool breeze and realized that they were already on. That's how quiet and smooth these fans operate.

Summary
For those with a PowerBook or iBook, or even a PC laptop with a USB port, the iBreeze is a handy companion to keep your device cooled down, helping to make the computer parts last longer. The stand is well engineered for stability and ergonomics, and the fans are amazingly quiet. If you have the funds to purchase a PowerBook, then the price of the iBreeze is a drop in the bucket. At $29.95, I strongly recommend this stand for any PowerBook or iBook owner.
