Challenge
#6
"Luck of the Draw"
In Challenge #6, each contestant
is faced with a challenge of varying degrees. The type of challenge depends upon
the luck of the draw, and the toughness of the challenge depends upon the roll of
the dice.

The Rules:
The drawing of cards and rolling of dice for this challenge is controlled by
the Luck of the Draw application.
Each contestant must run the application, enter their MacMole credentials, and then
proceed to draw a card. Once a card has been drawn, two more items will show up on
the subject list: Your Card, and Assigned Challenges. Under Assigned Challenges,
the status of all the other players will be displayed. NOTE: Once your card has been
drawn, that is your card. The card data is updated to the server, so there is no
undo function.
The next step is to roll the dice. The player can take as many practice rolls as
he/she likes, but as soon as the Final Roll button is pressed, the resulting dice
roll is final (again, the server is updated and there is no undo). After the final
roll, both the Your Card and Assigned Challenges windows are updated with the specific
challenge assigned to that player. Other players will immediately be able to see
the player's challenge as well.
The Luck of the Draw challenge begins on Monday, 3/11. Players have until Tuesday
midnight to determine their specific challenge using the application, and then two
weeks from then to complete the challenge. Each task will be judged accordingly,
with the award for completion ranging from $10,000 to $25,000 towards the prize chest.
If the task is not completed, the player earns $0 for the prize chest.
