Why I'm excited about Tiger: VoiceOver is awesome. Tiger has a built-in screen reader that will make Mac OS X and the web accessible to blind users. It is also vital in making the Apple platform acceptable to Federal customers who are obliged to purchase systems which are Section 508 compliant

Found: The first Mac I used had 128k RAM, a single floppy disk, no hard disk, no multi-tasking and a tiny black and white monitor. It ran MacPaint, MacDraw and MacWrite plus a handful of desk accessories. Even so, it demonstrated many important principles in user interface design. It’s amazing to look back on these days ­ that Mac was magical even when it offered so little in comparison with today’s Macs.
