The Macintosh Guild also referred to as the MacGuild is an organization of Macintosh professionals that gains it roots from the Lockheed Martin Corporation, home based in Sunnyvale, CA. Today, most all of the functionality is externally operated, allowing for some membership to outside professionals, however a majority of the membership are Lockheed Martin employees, former employees or family members.

The purpose of the MacGuild is to provide collaborative communications for fellow Macintosh users. This group regularly aids in resolving problems that users are incurring using products such as VPN, configuring email, security issues, and using Mac software in general.

Quite notably is that the MacGuild engages in in-depth reviews of Mac-related software and hardware. The archives can be viewed at the Mac Guild website.MacGuild reviews are often quoted by hardware and software companies, so our authority as a credible reviewing resource is rock solid. As a member of the guild, members are encouraged to participate in the review process, and are rewarded with free software as well t-shirts and other give-a-ways.
